  1. Okay, I’ve been informed this isn’t actually Dogwood. It has five petals and Dogwood has four, which, I actually know. So, I’m not sure what this is.

  2. These look like the five-petal Bradford Pear blooms. We have Bradfords, dogwoods, Quonset Cherry, and Crepe Myrtle trees all around the house here–lovely springtimes and, with the Myrtles, blooms all summer. I think if you Google Bradford Pear flower you’ll see pics very similar to your. Thanks for sharing this, G.M. It’s a nice treat on this cold cold day.

    1. That sounds familiar. It’s entirely possible I looked up the name when I took the photo and totally forgot. At least I know it’s not dogwood as I originally identified it.
